HISTORY, NATURE, AUTHENTICITY IN PIEDMONT
Welcome to our Cascina di Charme in Diano d’Alba, in the northern part of Italy, a few minutes far from Alba, the World capital of White Truffle, land of great wines and touristic center of the UNESCO Heritage hills of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato.
A completly renoveted typical country building lays among vineyards, hazelnuts fields and woods.
The renovation works brought to light small ceiling frescoes in the room that used to be the noblest room of the property which, thanks to its large openings, gives each room a panorama that changes minute by minute.
Le Cornici is still made of stones and briks and back in the days it was an historic farmhouse with a traditional barn once used to house the inevitable stable animals of the peasant tradition of the villages surrounding the city of Alba.
The history of Piedmontese properties has its roots in the value of the families who once lived in the large farmhouses set on once difficult hills: the representation of those ties is enclosed in the four frames of different sizes and colors that intertwine in the center of the courtyard where a time the harvest baskets were collected.
Cascina Le Cornici lies today in the heart of the Langhe, an area recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site, in a suggestive landscape, surrounded by the quiet of the vineyards and the surprising wonders of nature.
So it happens that from time to time among the twenty rows of Nebbiolo vineyards a family of fawns peep out from the bottom of the valley.
These are just some of the silent inhabitants of the woods surrounding the hill, whose sky is patrolled by a buzzard and in spring and summer by a small group of swallows looking for some water to drink above the swimming pool, while among the gardens overlooked by the large windows a small badger or a shy fox could be seen moving around curiously.

The Suites
The guests who will choose our suites will enjoy a total of 50 m² with a large double bedroom, a panoramic living room and a large bathroom with shower.
Guests who prefer the ground floor suite will have the chance to relax in the large private garden, while those who prefer the first floor suite will be able to enjoy the panorama from large windows and will have a private balcony at their disposal.
Deluxe
The guests who will choose our comfort rooms will have a 25 m² double bedroom with bathroom and shower.
Just outside of the room a large private garden will be the perfect place to relax while enjoying the panorama of our hills.
